PISO COLLECTIVE
PISO is a project formalized in 2008 dedicating its efforts in the experimentation and development of methodologies related to collaborative-artistic practice. Since 2009 it is operating part of its regular activity in Berlin, where is also currently involved in the art space Altes Finanzamt.
Among a wide group of invited artists, the collective is organized by António Francisco Queimadela, Catarina Miranda, Lorenzo Sandoval, Mariana Caló, Pedro Serrano and Sara Pereira.

DISPLACEMENT PROJECT
The publication “State of Motion” is the product of an invitation made to several authors to reflect upon “treatments on displacement and collectivism” (as a systematical creative method).
The outcome is a publication of diverse approaches within the compass of these ideas, comprising of original texts and artwork created for this project.
We wish to thank all the collaborators, friends and structures that supported this project and helped us with the development of this work, including Altes Finanzamt, Bolos Quentes, Eirik Sördal, Jonathan Saldanha, John Holten, Miguel Leal, Susana Caló, Susana Chiocca, Tobias Hering and also all the members of Piso (Catarina Miranda, Francisco Queimadela, Mariana Caló, Sara Pereira, Lorenzo Sandoval e Pedro Serrano), for the effort put into the organisation and accomplishment of this book.
